Yes, we got an interview about Myst, the granddaddy of modern video games. And we got it with the composer and co-developer, Robyn Miller. Which is awesome. Robyn and a few of his friends formed a game development team in the early ’90s. When they built the game shortly afterward, it completely revolutionized video game play. As in, turned the established gaming experience on its head. Because of a fight with the developers, Robyn wound up composing the music for Myst. The game has stuck around, and so has the soundtrack. This interview is part composing, part video game revolutionaries, and part astonishment at the lasting power of this cult classic. Enjoy!
