Wits potential guest blacklist

June 17, 2015

We have had a whole lot of guests on Wits over the years and we’ve been very careful about who to invite to appear on the show. Not everyone is welcome. Certain people are off limits.

Moby Dick – impossible to mic that blowhole, bad actor.

Boo-Berry – low energy compared to cereal monster co-stars.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus – this is reverse psychology, please be on our show, Julia, please please.

Kim Jong-un – claims credit for Cop Squadron sketches he had nothing to do with.

Truck-Driving Mouse – unwilling to stay for whole show, has teensy payload to deliver.

Scary Librarian Ghost in Ghostbusters – too scary.

Bjorn Borg – way too funny. Way, way too funny.

Starland Vocal Band – refuses to play Afternoon Delight. Or any other songs.

Pope Callixtus II – not a religious thing, just that he died in 1124.

John Moe – refuses to open up in interviews with host John Moe.

Pile of Oreos – we would only eat this guest, precluding it from guest duties.

See you at the show. But we won’t see THEM at the show. Except Julia. One day. We hope.

John

Jen Kirkman (@JenKirkman) also has a new comedy project for you to consume, as her new stand-up special,I’m Gonna Die Alone (And I Feel Fine), is now available on Netflix.

Rob Delaney (@robdelaney)‘s British television series, Catastrophe, is coming to America and Amazon next week. You can preview it here.

Did you know there is a Wits newsletter?  Much like the Infinite Guest newsletter, it comes out every week, with original content from Wits host John Moe, updates on new shows, what guests and friends of the program are up to, videos from the Wits YouTube channel, the whole shebang.
